The Ultimate Guide - Wedding Guest Jewellery

In your late 20’s as I am now, the summers are just one big continuous wedding!

The only thing about the back to back weddings is all the different garments to order, checking if it is a good fit, style and essentially breathable and light material especially if you're jet setting somewhere warm for a destination wedding.

There is nothing I love more than being a wedding guest, you can completely enjoy the entire day with no added responsibilities, make new friends and catch up with people you haven't seen in ages.  And as a jeweller weddings really are as good as it gets! If I have had the privilege to make the rings it's always so exciting. I still get butterflies at that moment after the vows, eagle eyed making sure everything goes to plan!

When it comes to outfit planning as a wedding guest you have full creative freedom on your outfit, as long it’s not white the world is your oyster.

The only thing about the back to back weddings is all the different garments to order, checking if it is a good fit, style, colour and essentially breathable and light material especially if you're jet setting somewhere warm for a destination wedding.

Although it is a fab feeling wearing a brand new dress as a guest for some weddings it is also a great option to use a dress or suit you already have just to get the use out of it as well as being a more sustainable and a less expensive option.

These are my top 5 jewellery tips, giving you ideas for the perfect accompaniment as well as something to cherish forever.

1. Statement Necklace- The Gold Oval Stack Necklace

If you are wearing a low neck cut dress a statement necklace is pretty much essential, whether that is a chunky chain or drop pendant, something has to fill that gap! This beautiful 9ct yellow necklace is a really special piece. It is simple yet stands out beautifully when worn.

2. Diamonds- 18ct Gold Diamond Studs

If like me you go for a headband, vibrant dress and love a statement necklace, sometimes a subtle and eye-catching pair of diamond studs is all you need to bring an outfit all together.

3. Pearls-The Gold Pear Pearl Necklace

They are a timeless and elegant accessory that look amazing with anything. Real pearls like the ones I sell are reflective too so add a brightness and beauty to your look. One of my best sellers and all time favourite pieces is The Gold Pear Pearl Necklace - this also comes in silver if you'd prefer that style too. The way the pendant sits looks stunning against the skin if you are wearing a scoop or V neck dress.

4. Pop of Colour-Citrine Cocktail Ring

Weddings are a vibrant day, add a burst of colour to your outfit with this sunshine yellow ring!

5. Statement Cufflinks- Flat Silver Button Cufflinks

Cufflinks are a perfect gift, especially when engraved. These are unusual for adding a statement finish to any shirt.
